Nicole Klinge

Experienced and educated herbalist

I have been teaching people about herbal medicine since 2008. For me, the most powerful activism is teaching people how to be self- empowered, how to take care of themselves, how to use the simple and ancient art of healing with plants. Humans throughout all of history relied on this knowledge to take care of themselves and their families. I strive to make this information accessible, easy to understand, & practical. I teach how to think, energetically, about healing with plants, rather then a simple this herb for that ailment. This approach leads to more effective, holistic, and deeply healing methods.

My experience and education spans a wide perspective. I attended an 18 month program at the Mountain School of Herbalism in Asheville NC from 2006-2008, where I was also an herbal medicine Lab intern and got to learn the art of making herbal tinctures and growing medicinal plants. I have attended several herbal conferences and decided to further my studies at the Maryland University of integrative health, where I began my journey to receive a Masters degree in Clinical Herbalism. I found online school is not for me and I did not complete the program but got an ample amount of experience in medical research and studies. I then proceeded to go back to school to study biology and chemistry to more fully understand the body and its mechanisms. That lead me to a 6 year career in anatomical pathology as a Histology Technician.

Besides my more scientific studies, I spent 4 years in a shamanic apprenticeship learning the art of healing from and energetic and ancient perspective. This opened my mind and consciousness to the power of unseen forces on our mind, body, and spirit. The aspect of energetic clearing and healing has gone hand in hand with herbalism since the beginning of time.
